Our Journey of Hope

Stick Around was born out of heartbreak, but also from a place of deep love. A few years ago, I lost my brother to suicide, and my world changed in a way that words barely capture. In the aftermath, I created a simple Facebook page with one goal - reach out, talk to people, maybe help others feel less alone. But in my own pain, the page sat untouched until one day this past summer, when I stumbled upon it again. That moment of disappointment sparked a realization: I did not want this story, or my brother's memory, to fade quietly. That's when the vision for Stick Around came alive within me.

I decided to channel grief into purpose, choosing to make something powerful from the darkness. Designing clothes that catch the eye and open real conversations about suicide awareness felt like the most honest tribute I could offer. The first design carries a sunflower intertwined with a skull, set alongside the words "There is Beauty in your Darkness." This motto guides everything we do, inviting everyone to show up as they are - including the parts they feel unsure about. I am not an industry professional; I am simply someone who cares deeply, learning and growing every day. Stick Around operates with one heart-led mission: to create something comforting and meaningful, so that nobody has to feel invisible in their struggles. Together, we can bring more light to those who need it most - one story, and one shirt, at a time.

Driven by personal loss, I started Stick Around so no one would need to walk through darkness alone. Every piece I design is rooted in compassion and a genuine hope that our story sparks understanding and empowers others.
